Some of the best views in the Coastal Bend {in my opinion} come from standing on a boat or on a pier in the early morning light holding a fishing pole.
The early morning breeze, the sound of water hitting the boat and the subtle glow of the sun rising over the horizon…easily one of my favorite past times!
Getting up early for fishing trips are some of my favorite memories and one of the many reasons I love living in the Coastal Bend. I love that there are so many different ways to enjoy the sport: you can choose to fish off the beach, a pier, a boat/kayak, or just wade into the water and cast.
You can catch and release just for the fun of the experience or you can bring home what you catch and have the joy of knowing your time fishing provided a meal for friends and family. {check Texas size requirements here}
