Jynelle N. Ornelas is born and raised on the outskirts of Corpus Christi, Texas (Clarkwood). Graduated from Moody High School 2003 with honors and designed and edited our Class yearbook. Attending Del Mar College in 2004-2005 majoring in Arts and Photography. I was looking to leave, but found a calling in the Health Community when I was forced to quit school and get a Massage Therapy License, due to my grandfather who came down with cancer and die a month after being diagnosed. My grandfather supported the family with his construction business. Without him there was no one to pay for my grandmothers’ insulin or cover the light and water bill. Luckily, I grew up massaging at the age of 6, my mother’s parents and great grandparents worked the cotton fields and gardened for food and fun. They would have me massage them every time I was under their care. I had no clue it was a career. Receiving a Massage Therapist License in 2007, Certified Aroma Therapist in 2011, Chinese Therapeutic Cupping Massage in 2013, Two Medical Massage License in 2015, Receiving a Health Coach Certification in 2017, Kids Yoga Certification 2017 and topping it off with a Cosmetologist license in 2019. I am now a member of the Grow Local Farmers Market Community and Part of the Marina Arts District and apart of Artwalk and Now part of this Beautiful Group where I not only look to make friends, but hopefully more sisters.
Married for 2 years now going on 3 in September 9, 2019. My Husband is an AC technician and bleeds AC fluids, and my best friend since high school. I have a son Robert who is 10 who thinks he is 24. I have my Ava 5 who thinks she is 85, and I have a Buddha. Buddha is a 2 years old Himalayan Cat (we rescued from craigslist) who thinks he is a 6 years old little boy and loves to wear dog cloths. We don’t not have cable. We have 1 TV with access to Netflix and we all watch TV together or not at all everything is monitored.
I own an all Organic Spa and Salon called Peace of Mind Massage Therapy and Natural Healing, LLC that my kids have grown up in and wish to be just like mom. Est.2010.
In my free time I love to work with my plants, and have dinner/concert with my friends’ old ones and new ones. I have date night with my husband.
