Events

We have fun all year round on our little island!

Barefoot Mardi Gras Festival – Parade on the beach with floats and music, a festival with kids zone, vendors, music and more, plus the King and Queens Ball for adults. The most Mardi Gras fun outside of New Orleans!

Island Farmers Market – Every other Thursday starting at 4:00pm. Vendors, food trucks and music.

Mazoch Family Christmas Display – A magical Christmas light display with a skiing Santa, dancing pelicans, Snoopy and the gang and more, all set to music. Fantastic!

La Posada Foundation Lighted Boat Parade – Boats of all sizes are decorated with thousands of Christmas lights. They cruise up and down designated canal routes, collecting toys from homeowners and people on docks, to be donated to Toys for Tots. It’s a beautiful sight!
