Who loves movies? I LOVE movies.

My family and I enjoy watching movies at home or in the theater. And this summer has been no exception. I have been lucky to have time to spend with my daughter.

There are so many good Summer movies out and we’ve been trying to keep up with them all. We recently found out that over at Century 16 they have discount Tuesdays. So, we’ve been hitting up the theater when we can. Alamo Drafthouse also has an Alamo Family program with lots of fun things for!

Anyway…we recently watched Spider-Man: Far From Home, rated PG-13, directed by Jon Watts, starring Tom Holland, Samuel L. Jackson, and Jake Gyllenhaal. We loved it!

It picks up after the events of Avengers: Endgame, if you haven’t seen Avengers yet that stop reading right here and get yourself to the movies (ha-ha) …. I’ll do my best to keep the spoilers to a minimum. Peter (Spider-Man) is grieving the loss of his mentor and just wanting a little bit of normal so he goes on his Summer vacation with his friends to Europe. Meanwhile Nick Fury and Shield (do we remember Shield?) they are deal with some monsters that have mysteriously popped up, as well as a new hero?? Well chaos ensues, and they need Spider-Man to save the day. Without giving it all away I can say there is plenty of fun action and nice special effects. As with most Marvel movies you want to stay after the credits. Did you like it?? Let me know in the comments!

In the meantime, here are some others that you may want to check out…

Toy Story 4 – Rated G
Aladdin -Rated PG
The Secret Life of Pets 2 – Rated PG
Avengers: Endgame – Rated PG-13
Men in Black International – Rated PG-13
The Lion King – Rated PG

So, if you are in the mood for a good movie at the theater with your little one/s, perhaps try out Spider-Man: Far From Home, my daughter gives it two thumbs up. When my daughter enjoys herself then that makes me feel like Super Mom.
