I know that Spring Break means “bored kids” for some of you. But we’ve found some Spring Break Camps in the Corpus Christi area for your family! Don’t forget to sign up early to ensure a spot for your child! Many of these camps are filling up fast!

Spring Break Youth Basketball Camp

The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department is offering a Spring Break Youth Basketball Camp for boys and girls.

Participants will obtain fundamental training through a variety of skills and drills, along with frequent basketball games against fellow campers. This program offers a positive and safe environment for youth. Professional instruction will be provided by local high school basketball coach, Roy DeLaPena.

Vacation Station Spring Break Youth Camp

The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department is offering a ‘Vacation Station’ Spring Break Camp for boys and girls.

Camp activities will include arts and crafts, sports, gaming tournaments, guest speakers and more! Vacation Station camps are structured, enrichment recreation programs offered by the Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department in collaboration with the Corpus Christi Independent School District during school breaks. This camp is perfect for parents who are working during Spring Break.

Bring a sack lunch with your child. Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided as part of the program.

Sign up your children for a week full of fun activities. Registration will be held March 7–9 from 4 to 6pm at Galvan Elementary School. For more information and space availability, call 361-826-3499.

Vacation Station

Kidz Dayz

Kidz Dayz is an all-day recreation program offered during school holidays and teacher in-service days.  Children in Kindergarten through 6th grade are invited to join the fun at T.M. Clark Elementary.  Activities will include arts and crafts, organized recreational play, games, prizes and lots of other fun.  A morning and afternoon snack will be provided. Children must provide their own lunch. Register two weeks in advance and pay the early bird price of $15.00.  Register online or at the Portland Community Center.

Kidz Dayz Camp

Spring Break Mini-Camp at the Texas State Aquarium

Spend a little time with the inhabitants of the Texas State Aquarium during your Spring Break!  Let your imagination take flight along with birds, or dance with the dolphins in Dolphin Bay.  You never know where the day will take you! Please have your child wear weather-appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes, a hat and a light sweater. Don’t forget to pack a lunch and bring a reusable water bottle/cup. This is a one day camp. Grade levels are assigned a certain date.

Time: 9 am-2 pm

Ages: Grades K-5th

Mad Scientist Spring Break Camp

The Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History is offering a camp to explore different subjects like physics, engineering, and biology. Enroll your children for these exciting activities and demonstrations. Cost includes a camp t-shirt and a snack.

Spring Break 6-Day “Learn to Swim” Fast Track

An Aqua-Tots Fast-Track session is an intense course of learning how to swim. Children are provided with back to back days of practice that allows them to learn and practice new skills while having fun in a family-friendly environment.

Spring Break Dance Camp at Kim Ryan Dance Center

Does your kid love to dance? At Dance Camp they will learn a combination of styles! All levels of dancers are welcome.

Spring Break for Girl Scouts at Oso Bay Wetlands

Explore, learn, and earn your girl scout badges over Spring Break. The Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve will take girl scouts on an adventure and nature trails. Depending on level, the girls can earn a Brownie Hiker Badge, a Junior Animal Habitat’s Badge, a Cadette Trees Badge, or a Brownie Bugs Badge. Price includes badge and fun patch. Girls must bring water and wear closed toe shoes.
