In a season of parenting that feels especially hard, our team is excited to share some of the things that are making us happy and helping us get through the days.
I have never looked forward to Fridays more in my life than right now. This is a time of life unlike any other and it’s a gift to take a minute and reflect. And I am excited to share a few of my favorite things with all of you! Maybe my favorites will make you happy too!
My Favorite Treat
I mean let’s be real. Mama deserves to have a favorite treat. Blue Bell Ice Cream recently released some new flavors and I am obsessed with Milk and Cookies. Not your typical cookie dough, this is actually the most perfect vanilla mixed with actual cookie chunks and it’s childhood memories, late night date nights, and self indulgence all mixed in to one. Clearly I am obsessed.
My Favorite Life Hack
Dry Shampoo. I mean seriously. This goes with out saying but I feel like I am late to the dry shampoo train. BUT just in case there’s any one else out there who doesn’t use it yet let me spell it out for you. Your quick mornings just got quicker. Your mom bun just lasted 2 days longer. Your curls just got that much more body. And I love this scent the best- because I feel like I just went to a blow dry bar and feel like a million bucks.
My Favorite thing to Binge Watch
Hubby and I have been watching ALL the Star Wars movies on Disney Plus. Wow I never thought I would do that, let alone admit it! But it has been SO much fun. We’ve loved having access to all of them! And because there’s so many of them, it’s been a built in date night for several weeks.
My Favorite Thing to Drink
When 3 pm rolls around I need a little kick of energy. I LOVE adding flavor packets to my water bottle and look forward to this little bit of fun every day! I mean it’s the simple things right! For an extra kick add it to your La Croix with some ice and a straw!
My Favorite Thing to Wear
I have to wear prescription sunglasses. And as I am sure you know, they cost so much $$$. For years I just did with out, because that was definitely not within our budget. But then I heard about Zenni. And I have been hooked ever since! I finally have prescription sunglasses for a very affordable price. They have so many cute styles! Recently I splurged on these rainbow frames, and I feel like I am Six years old-however my kids think I am AWESOME! And it’s super fun to have these fun frames to mix it up with my more conservative pairs.
