Coastal Bend
Hi everyone, I’m Aislinn and I am so excited to be a part of the Coastal Bend Mom Collective community! I’m a Canadian who grew up in Missouri and lived in Mississippi for 10 years before we moved to Corpus Christi in June of 2020 due to my husband’s job.
I’m a small business owner and have loved connecting with the entrepreneur, maker and artist communities in the Coastal Bend. We have LOVED living in Corpus Christi so far and are so excited to continue exploring everything this amazing area has to offer.
Mom
Motherhood did not come easily to me. I was diagnosed with PCOS and went through infertility treatments to have my son, who is now 8. We attempted to have a second child for a few years before deciding to live happily as a family of three, until 2019 when surprise! I found out I was pregnant with a baby girl.
Unfortunately we lost our daughter at 21 weeks of pregnancy on July 4, 2019. Infertility and loss have definitely made me that much more grateful to have my son, but sheesh, motherhood can be hard some days!
Collective
I had a blog while going through infertility treatments and the community and support I received during that time was the most amazing thing. My hope is to help create a community for parents who can celebrate the wins and commiserate the hard times of parenthood.
