Hi Ya’ll! I’m Adriana Armendarez! Years ago, I made the move from West Texas to Corpus Christi to attend college – Go Islanders! And now I’ve been here half of my life! YIKES! Yikes to the aging, NOT to the Coastal Bend!
Mom
I am mom (bruh) to one incredible teen daughter & I am Nonnie (auntie) to four littles under four! The four littles all have birthdays this fall so we will be extra busy. And of course I will be busy being EXTRA. Yes – I’m that aunt lol!
I’m a single mom. I’ve been through the pains and trials of divorce and custody battles (five years). On that front, I’ve been blessed with “big sisters” in my life. I feel called now to be the Big Sister in other women’s lives. With that in mind and on my heart I’ll do my best to share from past experiences as well as current ones!
For work I’m a strategic growth consultant, so you might see me out in the community quite a bit. Moms, community, connecting, and youth are my passion. This year I’ve also been selected for the Leadership Corpus Christi Class 50 program. Super excited. You will also see me standing loud and proud with my “I’m just here for the half-time show” shirt this fall, Go Color Guard!

I started writing with CBMC in November 2020 and I love all the things about it. I definitely wanted to have more voices for us mommas raising teenagers. What I found when I joined was Oh So Much More! I treasure the team so much. Being a part of the team fulfills me in so many ways as we get to connect moms, support moms, and love on other mommas. I have also transitioned into working some of our CBMC events so please check the calendar!
