Whipped Coffee Recipe : Corpus Christ : Coastal Bend Mom

I’m sure by now you’ve seen the whipped coffee circulating the internet and all social media platforms.

So, because I love you, I’m here to give you a “How-To” on how to make it. You’re welcome. 🙂

Honestly, I HAD NO IDEA that instant coffee could whip up like that, but the internet proved me wrong.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • A small bowl for mixing
  • A whisk {be prepared to whisk for about 10- 15 mins – unless you have an electric whisk or a handheld mixer, then you, my friend, have it made!}
  • A cup of milk in a glass with ice
  • A dash of your favorite creamer (this is optional) I like the Starbucks Cinnamon Dolce – it tastes like a cookie!
  • 2 tbsp of instant coffee (MUST say instant on the packaging)
  • 2 tbsp of sugar
  • 2 tbsp of HOT water

Preparing:

Put the instant coffee, sugar, and hot water in the bowl and whisk until you can no longer feel your arm. But of course, if you have an electric mixer this will be a breeze.

Mix until you get a peanut butter consistency. Don’t give up you will get there.

Then do a flip test, if you flip and doesn’t drip, you got yourself the perfect whip

Scoop the whip into the glass of milk and make sure to stir!!
