Fall. Sweaters, leggings, pretty colors, nice weather, but let’s not forget, the COFFEE. Yes! The coffee!! What keeps all of us, mamas, going. Whether you are a hot coffee or cold coffee type of gal, I’ve got a fix for you.
Let’s start by saying that my coffee addiction can add up quickly, so my husband came up with an alternative: We purchased a cold brew maker and a French press, on top of our coffee machine. So every morning I have a hot cup of coffee, and in the afternoon I love a cold pick me up type of drink.
Making cold brew has been a life saver, especially since Texas summer and fall kinda run together, I mean seriously.
We make it at night and let it sit in the refrigerator at least 12 hours. It saves the day, every single day, and I don’t have to get out of the house to get it. WHAT!!! Yes, that’s right, you can make your own Starbucks copycat. My recipes are plain and simple. Anyone can enjoy a delicious cup of fall at home.
My current fall favorite creamers are Starbucks pumpkin spice latte, Starbucks cinnamon dolce latte and Silk almond caramel. Whether hot or cold, all three of these are delicious.
Cold brew:
•Brew coffee overnight
•Add your favorite fall creamer
(I don’t add any other sweetener, but feel free to)
•A dash of cinnamon, nutmeg or pumpkin spice
If you have a milk frother, whip that creamer up and enjoy!
French press or any hot coffee:
•Make your hot coffee as you normally would
•Add creamer of your choice
•A dash of cinnamon, nutmeg or pumpkin spice
These are really easy and affordable recipes. Feel free to substitute the regular coffee for a PSL and add some French vanilla creamer. Get creative, experiment with all the fall flavors, have fun.
