Crockpot:: Parmesan and Garlic Chicken Pasta

0

As we approach Crockpot season I have started to pull out my favorite recipes for dinners and gather new ones to try. With two kids in school starting to participate in multiple extracurricular activities and the holidays fast approaching our evenings just seem to get busier with every passing day. That is why during this season I like to pull out my crockpot for at least 3-4 meals out of the week. It always feels like things go so much smoother if dinner is a task I can check off my To-Do list early in the day rather than trying to cook at 7 or 8 pm.

But like with all of my go-to meals after a while I have to switch things up or eating out starts to sound better than anything already simmering away in the crockpot and that tends to be hard on both the wallet and the way my jeans fit. I recently found this Parmesan and Garlic Chicken Pasta recipe while scrolling Tiktok and it was a HUGE hit so I wanted to share! You can see the original here, but I made a few changes to fit our family’s tastes and I have listed the ingredients I used and the steps I took below!

Parmesan and Garlic Chicken Pasta

Ingredients:

  • HEB Flyin Saucy Parmesan Garlic sauce
  • Four Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 Cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • Salt and Italian Seasoning
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • Heavy Cream (I used the Silk Dairy-Free version)
  • Your Choice of Pasta
  • Grated Parmesan Cheese (for topping optional)

Cooking Steps:

  1. Place your chicken into your crockpot, season with salt and Italian seasoning to taste.
  2. Pour the full bottle of sauce over the chicken, then fill the sauce bottle a little over halfway with the heavy cream, shake, and pour into the crockpot.
  3. Add 1 Cup of shredded parmesan and the cream cheese (cut into small cubes)
  4. Let cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours.
  5. After your chicken is done shred with a fork and mix in your cooked pasta.
  6. Top with grated parmesan and serve!

This meal turned out really good, so good I got the thumbs up from one out of two kids which I call a win! And the best part is I was able to have dinner ready and on the table in less than 15 mins after getting home for the evening.
