My Personal Netflix and Binge Challenge: What to Watch.

(Note: I did not receive any compensation I just randomly chose Netflix for this post.)

Who loves Netflix? I will admit I have had a lot of time on my hands lately, so I decided to give myself a fun little challenge recently.  For a lot of us, we don’t really want to be outside right now {it is SOOO hot!} and need something we can do indoors. One of the things that I do to occupy my time is to watch tv shows and movies.

Over the past few weeks, I have challenged myself to find some new things to watch and if they turn out to be binge-worthy then that would be even better. I picked various new and old things to watch. At first, it was only going to be a list of shows I heard people were watching, but that’s no fun. So, I decided to pick a little over a dozen various shows/ movies off Netflix and watch at least the first episode (of the shows) and decide if I thought they were binge-worthy (in my opinion).

Where to begin? My take off the first viewing alone…

Shows/ Movies

  1. The Witcher – Starring Henry Cavill, based on a series of fantasy books, there is also a video game. I’m going to say I would watch more episodes because well… Henry Cavill!!
  2. The Crown– not gonna lie I’m already hooked! It follows the lives of the British Royal family since the early 1900s. Very riveting.
  3. Tiger King– I missed the boat when people were talking about this all-over social media. I saw one episode and it is definitely something. I don’t think it’s a show I NEED to see, but just for fun ya sure.
  4. Dark– Is interesting… a German tv show that is voiced over in English. From the first episode it seems like a mystery/drama with a touch of time travel. Seems like something to dive into if you have the time.
  5. Stranger Things– I remember people talking about this show all the time and I never got around to watching it. After the first episode I gather it’s a little science fiction/mystery. I always liked Winona Ryder and I curiosity is piqued.
  6. Bodyguard– starring Game of Thrones alum Richard Madden (swoon), as a war veteran who is assigned to protect a politician in this action/drama. If you learn anything about me it’s I will watch anything with a dreamy leading man! (Haha).
  7. Unsolved Mysteries– a reboot of the original series. This caught my attention from the beginning. A must watch!
  8. Space Force– something on the funny side. Starring Steve Carell, a spoof of the latest military branch.
  9. The Babysitters Club– a show for the kids. I don’t know about you but as a kid I used to love reading these books. About a group of young girls who start a babysitting business. I plan on watching this show with my daughter.
  10. Dead to Me– starring Christina Applegate, seems like a comedy/little bit of mystery. A widow searching for the hit and run driver who ran down her husband. Might give this one a try just based off Christina’s comedic banter with her costars.
  11. Desperados- a Netflix movie perfect for a girls night or even a date night. Starring Nasim Pedrad, Anna Camp, Lamorne Morris, a crazy romantic comedy.
  12. Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga- a ridiculously funny movie especially when you have stars like Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams. A hilarious musical comedy.

Other movies worth mentioning.

Extraction- two words… Chris Hemsworth!

Wine Country – Girls night type of movie!

Plenty of older movies like The Karate Kid, Indian Jones, Twister, and shows like Gilmore Girls, Glee, Parks & Rec.

I haven’t decided which to binge first. But I have a pretty good start. Which shows have you watched or want to start watching? Any I should add to my list?
