Writing for the Coastal Bend Mom Collective mostly means writing about what I know about… being a mom. Writing all about motherhood and the ups and downs, the joys, and sorrows. The fun days and the hard days, the lazy days, and the crazy days. In my life that also includes all the men that are a part of mine and my daughters’ life.
I want to say THANK YOU. To the men who have been and are a part of my life. My daddy in heaven, my father-in-law, my uncles, my stepdad, my brothers, my cousins, my friends, and of course my husband. To all the men who have shown me and my daughter what fatherhood looks like.
You showed me:
How to work hard for the life you want.
All about “corny” dad jokes.
Big bear hugs.
Scaring away the monsters hiding in the closet and under the bed.
BBQ and football family Sundays.
How to face my fears.
Dad’s show us so many things and they hold our hearts in ways that we could never imagine. Without them who knows where we would be.
