  1. Kitchen Playset {Pictured}: I’ve seen my 3 yr old daughter play for hours making fake food and bringing it to me to eat. There are many different models and price points that you can go with. You can even DIY a kitchen set out of an old entertainment center!
  2. Dinosaur Backpack: Big enough to fit a few diapers, a travel
    pack of wipes and an extra set of clothes, the best part of this bag is that kids LOVE carrying it themselves. They are durable and come in several fun color combos and super affordable!
  3. Animal Tail Blankets: Best gift ever! Our kids LOVE this and they are my go-to gift throughout the year. They come in lots of styles and sizes and most of the price points are between $20.00 and $40.00. {Pictured are Snuggy Tails.}
  4. Piggy Bank: Simple and useful. You can go super traditional with this gift or you can get a favorite character. The price point will rely on how fancy you get but you can typically stay under $30.00.
  5. Art Supplies: My favorite is the Crayola Mess Free supplies. They have all sorts of sizes, and even a travel case for the car. You can get a wide assortment fit for any budget.
  6. Clothes: I know, I know: CLOTHES = BORING!!!! But…hear me out, you can buy them some fun PJs that they will like and actually have fun with, and you can get them a few practical pieces for their closet! PS: if you are buying for someone else’s preschooler, I guarantee the parents will appreciate the {quiet} gift of clothes!
  7. Adventure Box: I just saw this idea the other day and I am for sure going to work this into our family traditions going forward. This one takes a little planning and budget work, but think of the quality time and fun that will be had ALL YEAR LONG! Photo Cred: Darlene Howell Waller
  8. One Big Family Trip: This is more a gift for the entire family, but a lot of people are choosing to forgo getting lots of different gifts for Christmas and instead book one big family trip as the gift. For me, that would probably be going away for a weekend to Fiesta Texas, or maybe to Space Center Houston! Or you can go big and plan a Ski Trip or something out of state!
  9. Color Your own Playhouse:  I saw these the other day, I think these could be a lot of fun! Kids can use it to play but also make it their own by coloring in the pictures!
  10. Bath Toys: Bath time can be a struggle but if the kids have new fun toys to play with while they get clean it might just make your life a little easier!
