I’ve always been an “endless summer” type of gal. Becoming a parent has really allowed me to see the magic of fall, though. As a mom, I’ve noticed that the excitement of summer and hustle of the holidays makes time move at double-speed. That leaves (no pun intended) a sweet little spot during the fall where the weather cools off and everything slows down for just a moment. There is nothing like a drive to nowhere with a warm beverage, a lazy afternoon movie with a cozy blanket, or an evening bonfire with friends. Those fall days that seem to move at half speed are truly one-of-a-kind.
I’ve curated a fabulous fall playlist that gives me those slow, content, magical fall vibes- the ones that make you want to take a slow, crisp Sunday drive followed by snuggles on the couch that last all afternoon.
Here’s my list of current fall favorites:
Crowded Table by The Highwomen
Take it Easy by Surfaces
Slow Burn by Kacey Musgraves
Harvest Moon by Neil Young
Daisy Mae by Leon Bridges
Fraulein by Colter Wall and Tyler Childers
