25 Christmas Movies We All Love

2

family-watching-movies-ccmbOh yea! Along with the Christmas season comes all sorts of fun in the way of Christmas movies.  As a family we have a few favorites that we always manage to watch during the Christmas season… National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, the Home Alone series, and, of course, The Santa Clause series. Those are a few that we can watch over and over and never manage to get tired of.  It was fun creating a list with my ‘Top 25 Christmas Themed Movies We All Love.’

I remember watching all the familiar Christmas cartoons as a child, year after year after year. (You get the idea.) It was definitely something my brother and I looked forward to when the holiday season rolled around.  You know the ones I’m talking about,  Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman.  Somehow those old classics seem to get lost in the shuffle these days.  Because if we admit it, the special effects and movie making magic have changed a lot since those old films came out.  If I can catch the commercial announcing when they will air, I still try to watch them.  When I do, I’m taken back and reflect on some fond childhood memories of family time with my brother and my parents.

So, without further ado, let me share with you what I consider to be MY Top 25 All-Time Favorites….

Ok.  So.  We cannot forget another fun way to get into the Christmas spirit and jump-start the warm fuzzies.  How about the Hallmark Channel?  Is your house anything like mine?  I usually have to set my DVR and watch them later.  My son is good for a little bit of that channel, but for him, a little bit goes a long way.  My husband on the other hand, will humor me and watch them… I love him for that.

Christmas is such a special time of year.  I’d like to wish YOU and YOURS a very, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

Before you go, take a moment and share with me your favorites Christmas themed movies.  I would love to know if they’re already on my list, or maybe something new!

Pam is a city-girl gone country thanks to her best friend and husband of thirteen years, Johnny. Together, the couple has one son, Caleb {2005.} Pam has four adult children who have blessed her with seven precious grandchildren and the title of Meme’. As you can imagine, she has run the gamut in parenting! Pam has a barn full of chickens, rabbits, and donkeys. Some of her favorites are quality time with Jesus, learning to play golf to keep up with her husband and son, writing when time allows, and, of course, taking care of life on their small ranch. Except for snakes, scorpions, and spiders... her 'cup runneth over.'
