National Best Friends Day is coming up on June 8th.

A good way to celebrate is by checking in on your closest pals. Every mom usually has a group of mom friends they keep in touch with. Sometimes it can get a little difficult to stay in touch. Moms can get super busy. Life just happens and we adjust. We have so many things: work, school, husbands, kids, and we just run out of time during the day.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about my friends a lot. Maybe it’s because I have had more time on my hands or because a lot of life-changing events have been happening to me but has had me reflecting on things more. How do we keep in touch when the world around us is always on the go?

I have been trying a few new ways to keep in touch with my closest gals. About once a month my friends and I attempt to get together, sometimes with the kids and sometimes without. When we can’t make it in person, we keep in touch in other ways.

I have some friends who have tried out the app Zoom, and they do virtual get-togethers. Morning coffees, evening happy hours, and even game nights. Some other friends I have also have a group chat on Facebook messenger (you can name your group by the way- get creative).

Of course, there’s the good ol’ fashioned way, you could always pick up the telephone (smartphone), send a picture or text whichever you prefer.

Friends are only a call away and personally if I haven’t kept in touch, I’m sorry. But now we have a few ways to make it easier. To all my mom friends, don’t be lonely, stressed, or frustrated, if you feel alone just call on your MOM TRIBE.
