I had the privilege of checking this place out with some other contributors from Corpus Christi Mom’s Blog, and we loved it! You can pick out your own design and colors to paint on your board. Tipsy Canvas
This place offers a step by step painting instructions on your canvas. You can bring your own snacks and beverages, and if you’re 21 or older you can bring your own booze. Sounds like a pretty fun night! Call 361-993-9600 to make reservations.
Paint It
This place has a variety of ceramics to choose from, and you can paint it however you wish. You can choose from mugs, bowls, figurines, and then you’ll live with a moment that you’ll cherish forever. Cinemark 16 & IMAX
I mean, come on, who doesn’t love a good movie? Valentine’s Day lands on a Wednesday this year, which means sometimes you just wanna veg and not make a ton of effort. It’s ok! We understand. Pick out your favorite movie, grab a bucket of popcorn, and relax with your honey.
Alamo Drafthouse Cinema
Again, same concept, right? Movie, comfy seats, popcorn… But, if you want dinner AND a movie then check out Alamo Drafthouse. They’ll have the same showings as Cinemark 16, but if you’d like dinner too, then check this place out. Just be prepared to pay more for it.
Harbor Playhouse
Do you wanna see a live show? Then check out the Harbor Playhouse downtown. You’ll be able to see Corpus Christi local talent, and you can enjoy snacks and drinks during the play. For showings and times call 361-888-7469.
On a Budget
Beaches
You can’t really beat this. Our views here are really spectacular. So, take your spouse by the hand and go for a long walk on the beach. Bring a blanket and some wine, sit and relax for the best show in town.
Game Night
Maybe you can’t find a sitter, but still want to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Dust off your board games or deck of cards and have some fun with your spouse. Splurge on your favorite snacks to enjoy while the kids are in bed.
Family Night
Let’s be honest, not all couples celebrate Valentine’s Day. So, if that’s you then gather the family around the table, and let each person there know they are loved. Make your family’s favorite meal, and enjoy each other’s company. After dinner, have a family game night or movie night at home!
