But running this little blog of ours takes a LOT of work.
We could use some help behind the scenes and are seeking an Event Coordinator and Sponsorship Coordinator to join our Executive Team.
Event Coordinator
Time Commitment : Varies depending on size, complexity and stage of planning for each event
Compensation : Commission based, details to be discussed upon hiring.
Summary of Role :
- Along with Owner, serve as point of contact for all Corpus Christi Moms Blog events
- Manage all aspects of event sponsorships
- Solicit swag and giveaway partners, as well as table sponsors for events
- Secure event location, food, entertainment and other necessary logistics
- Manage all aspects of communication with sponsors and attendees
- Be available the week before the event to help with any final event preparations (item pickups, stuffing swag bags, etc.)
- Be available the day of the event to help coordinate and facilitate the event
- Create social media promotions for sponsors leading up to and at events
- Within event blog posts (ex. event announcements and recaps) ensure accurate inclusion of all sponsors including
swag and giveaway partners (as needed and/or promised) - Coordinate Mombassadors and oversee scheduling of Neighborhood Group playdates
- Brainstorm new ideas for Corpus Christi Moms Blog events with Owner
- Respond to emails in a timely manner (48 hours)
- Represent Corpus Christi Moms Blog in a positive and professional manner at all times
Qualifications
- Passionate about the Coastal Bend
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (written and verbal)
- Ability to meet deadlines and follow through on commitments
- Previous event planning experience (preferred)
