Libraries have to be the most underrated resource for parents. Before having kids, I never realized home much I would appreciate and rely on our local libraries here in the Coastal Bend.
Between the ability for my kids to have a revolving door of books all year round that does not cost us money, and all the events they offer year-round that give us a budget-friendly list of things to do; they really deserve more credit!
If you have not yet tapped into this extensive resource as a parent I HIGHLY encourage you to find your local library on the list and take your kids for a visit. This is especially useful as the temperatures start to climb as we inch closer to summer.
