Non-Candy Easter Basket Fillers

0

I love Easter. I have so many fond memories of Easter at my grandparent’s, hunting eggs in my grandfather’s small backyard – they were never big or extravagant, but the hunt, the hunt is what I remember.

While I long to recreate these same memories with my children, I also do not like to go overboard or spend lots of money on Easter Baskets. Realizing that I do not remember one single thing that was ever in my own Easter baskets as a kid, I knew I could keep my children’s baskets relatively simple. I also keep them 100% candy-free in order to avoid any unnecessary sugar frenzies. If you take a stroll down the Easter aisle at your local grocery store you will see that candy-free is not the norm – it can actually be tricky to find things that are not candy. That is why I wanted to put this list together.  We CAN make great memories with our families without spending a fortune and candy does not need to be the centerpiece of every holiday in order for it to be enjoyed.

Below you can find ideas for baskets for your newborn all the way to your tweens and teens.

Religious Easter Books

Books make a GREAT filler for Easter Baskets, these below can be for all ages, from small to big.

Secular Easter Books

If you are gifting the basket to someone who is not religious or you want to have a mix of religious and secular books, the list below is more bunnies and eggs focused.
